I have extensive experience in counselling men over 50 who are experiencing anxiety, bereavement, stress and depression.
Also, men who are considering retirement may be facing different choices and challenges that, as a counsellor ,I can help you explore.
I have supported clients through challenging life situations , for example transitioning into retirement, managing challenging work colleagues and managers, family bereavement, relationship challenges and many more.
I work as an integrative counsellor, which means that I have received training in different methods of counselling and I can work with clients using CBT, person centred therapy and creative therapy.
As a Christian, I can offer you Biblical, prayerful, counselling , if you would like to share your story with a caring, non judgemental, Christian counsellor.
I have been counselling for a number of years in a voluntary counselling role, I passed my Level 4 AQA diploma in therapeutic counselling in August 2015.
Alongside my professional counselling training, I have a wealth of life experiences to draw upon, which I find helps me to care for my clients and support them on their journey through counselling.
I follow the BACP Code of Practice and receive regular supervision , this helps clients to feel safe and reassured that their counsellor is practicing within set regulations.
I am open, honest, caring and completely committed to my clients , I will always work with clients in a way that is completely focused on them.
